Industrial Stack Damper Manufacturer for Flue Gas Isolation

Key features:

  • Energy efficient Industrial Stack Dampers that minimizes heat loss from boiler
  • Correct operation of stack dampers ensures safety by proper ventilation of exhaust gases – this further prevents accumulation of harmful gases such as carbon monoxide
  • Extends the life of equipment – by maintaining the optimal operating environment of heating equipment thereby less repairs / maintenance saving on costs
  • Environmental friendly: Stack dampers help in reducing carbon footprints by decreased use of fossil fuels, resulting in lower greenhouse effect
  • Hubluxe stack damper comes in multiple designs – including butterfly, twin louver, multi-louver or twin flap and can integrate an automatic pressure relieving systems to prevent over pressurization and damage to the turbine system or boilers

Hubluxe Engineering manufactures heavy-duty HRSG Stack Dampers (also known as Stack Isolation Dampers) designed for the exhaust outlets of Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG), Waste Heat Recovery Boilers (WHRB), and Gas Turbines.

Industrial Stack dampers / Stack dampers are installed within the chimney stack or flue gas duct in HVAC system. The primary purpose is to protect the flow of exhaust gases from boilers or furnaces to outside environment. The operation of stack damper includes the opening and closing, to adjust the volume of exhaust gases that can pass through the stack.

When the heating system is not operational, the stack damper is in CLOSE position to prevent any heat escape through the stack thereby conserving energy. While the heating system is operational, the damper is in OPEN position to allow the by-products to safely vent away.

Standard construction features of Flue Gas Damper / Stack isolation dampers

Stack dampers are constructed using standard materials in IS2062, IS2002, ASTM A36 carbon steel, Stainless steel grade martials in SS304 & SS316, SS316L etc. Special materials can also be requested.

To prevent from ingress of rain water a rain trough with drain is added to it.  Flange bearings with three-ring packing gland assembly are a standard and design for ease of service.

Factors for thermal expansion are accounted for, in blade design itself.  Insulated blade design and rain gutter are some of the options once can consider.

For hassle free crane lifting there are lifting lugs provided around the dampers. Stack dampers from Hubluxe Engineering are truly durable, reliable, and economical to maintain.
